The following non-prerequisite workshops are approximately 3 1/2 hours with a limit of 10 dog and human teams.

Targeting 101 - Nose and Feet

 In this 3 and a half hour workshop you will learn the very basics of clicker training while you and your dog learn about target training and several of the practical applications where these skills can be used. When we are done you and your dog should have the beginnings of the following behaviors: ‘bed’, ‘touch’ with the dog’s nose and ‘tap’ with the dog’s feet and a bonus anti-target behavior ‘off’.

Targeting 102 - Body and Eyes

 In this 3 and a half hour workshop you will learn the very basics of clicker training while you and your dog learn about target training and several of the practical applications where these skills can be used. When we are done you and your dog should have the beginnings of the following behaviors: ‘mat/place’, a ‘hip’ touch to a target stick, ‘attention’ to you, a ‘look at that’ for looking away from you and a bonus anti-target behavior ‘off’.
